We are 200% confident on our Industry experience and connects, relevant content, flexible and innovative training approach and therefore there is no reason why someone shall not get selected for the right job for himself / herself – however the only factor that we will not be able to control is “your luck” and hence the remediation is to bring you back to our sessions and train you again on the relevant subjects.

We do not believe in any “hidden terms and conditions” i.e. we give guarantee for something and then add hundreds of riders in the fine print.

You always have these options available and if you are able to crack the interviews and get a suitable job on your own, we would be very happy for you. However, we would like to understand from you what is the basis of your assumption? You are confident, you believe that you can make the cut, is a good feeling to have ..however there are many others who are thinking on similar lines and therefore its very important to benchmark yourself against others.

At the same time, the programs that we run are mostly basis on the requirements we get from our Client’s Organisations and therefore we know whom we are training for, what we are training for?

Additionally, to increase candidate’s comfort, we do offer moneyback programs from time to time.

More than the number metrics, we follow % success ratio – in other words we are not very keen on how many candidates have we got placed so far, but we are more focused on how many candidates have we got placed from the total candidates who have joined our up-skilling programs – and we are proud to say, that number is ~95%.

For genuine reason beyond ones control we can consider but otherwise fees is simply non-transferable and non-refundable.

Depends on the program you are joining, overall we are very flexible about the batch timings every time.

Every up-skilling program at Crossbar is crafted to keeping outcome in mind – normally 60% of our sessions are live, real time video sessions and 40% sessions are in-person classroom sessions, however this may vary from program to program.

Project Management FAQ

The Project Management Professional (PMP) credential recognizes demonstrated knowledge and skill in leading and directing project teams and in delivering project results within the constraints of schedule, budget and resources. It is accredited by the Project Management Institute (PMI), USA, which is the leading global association for the project management profession.

Those who lead and direct cross-functional teams to deliver projects within the constraints of schedule, budget, and scope.

To be eligible for the PMP credential, you must meet certain educational and professional experience requirements. All project management experience must have been accrued within the last eight consecutive years prior to your application submission.

The eligibility requirements depend upon your Education Background.

  1. If you hold a High school diploma, associate’s degree or global equivalent, then you need:
    • Project Management Experience: Minimum five years/60 months unique nonoverlapping professional project management experience during which at least 7,500 hours were spent leading and directing project tasks.
    • Project Management Education: 35 contact hours of formal education (or PDUs).
  2. If you hold a Bachelor’s degree or global equivalent, then you need:
    • Project Management Experience: Minimum three years/36 months unique non-overlapping professional project management experience during which at least 4,500 hours were spent leading and directing project tasks.
    • Project Management Education: 35 contact hours of formal education (or PDUs).

At a high level, the PMP application process involves the following steps:

  1. You submit an online application for the exam to PMI.
  2. PMI reviews your application and if it is determined to be complete, PMI will send you an email to submit the exam fee. Your application approval is valid for one-year from the date you receive the approval email.
  3. After you pay for the exam, PMI will send you an email indicating one of the following next steps:
    • Examination scheduling instructions to help you schedule your examination
    • Application has randomly been selected for PMI audit process
  4. If you receive exam scheduling instructions, you can go ahead and schedule your exam with Prometric.
  5. If your application is selected for an audit, PMI will provide you the follow-up instructions to comply with the audit.

The examination fees vary depending upon whether you are a PMI member.

For PMI Members

  • Computer-based exam: USD 405
  • Paper-based exam: USD 250

For Non-PMI Members

  • Computer-based exam: USD 555
  • Paper-based exam: USD 400

Yes, absolutely. You don’t need to be a PMI member to apply for PMP certification. But only a fool would do so (sorry for the harsh language). PMI membership costs $139, but you get a $150 discount on the exam. So, why would you want to apply for PMP certification without joining PMI? For more details, read 10 Benefits of PMI Membership.

Contact Hour is unit of measure that represents an hour of scheduled instruction given to students. In the PMP context, contact hour is an hour of formal project management education / training.

INTERNSHIP PROGRAM FAQ

No. Crossbar will incentivise the interns in many different ways by making them ready with the future skills and specialised domain skills. Crossbar might consider rewarding the top performers.

YES – absolutely! every intern will be coached and mentored by the industry experts during the internship as well as for the Internship Report.

The pre-internship assessment is a simple test to evaluate candidate’s interest and readiness for the stream they should be taking. Crossbar will facilitate and guide the students for choosing the right streams.

There’s no fee payment for the training provided as part of the summer internship, however for the ‘continued structured learning’ , student will be required to pay the fees between 55k70k INR depending on the program

YES – but you will need to clear the Final Assessment successfully and take the program seriously by attending and participating in all the classes.

YES – though we are confident to get the students placed in the right jobs, yet if anyone doesn’t get placed within 90 days of training completion, Crossbar will refund 60% of the fees charged.
